Revit to render
Turn Your Revit View into a Photoreal Render with AI
Export a 3D view or camera view from Revit as a PNG or JPG, upload it, and ArchitecturesAI paints real materials, daylight, sky, planting and furniture over it. The camera, massing and openings in your view stay where they are, so the image still shows your design. It runs in the browser: there is no plugin to install, no graphics card to buy and no render engine to set up. You get a rendered image back, not a Revit or BIM file.
Render your Revit viewSign in with Google or email to render. New accounts get 2 free renders (watermarked); free renders are not available in India on this site.

What Revit to render AI does
Revit is built for modeling and documenting buildings, and its shaded views are made for checking a design, not for showing it to a client. Getting a photographic image out of a Revit model usually means assigning render materials, setting up lights and a sun position, and then running the built-in renderer or a separate engine such as Enscape, V-Ray, Twinmotion or Lumion. That takes time, a capable computer and often an extra license.
Revit to render AI takes a shortcut for concept and presentation images. You give it a picture of a Revit view. The AI reads the geometry it can see in the image (walls, roof, floor lines, windows, doors) and paints a finished image over it, with materials, light, sky, people, planting and furniture that fit the building type and style you choose.
The result is a still image for design reviews, client meetings, competition boards, planning visuals or social posts. Nothing is sent back into Revit, your model is not changed, and no BIM data, materials or families are created.
How to render a Revit view with ArchitecturesAI
- In Revit, open the 3D view or camera view you want to show. If you will render the same angle again, duplicate the view and lock it so the camera does not move.
- Export it with File > Export > Images and Animations > Image as a PNG or JPG, or take a screenshot of the view. Crop away the ribbon, project browser, properties palette and view cube.
- Click "Render your Revit view". The Render Architecture tool opens with Residential and Modern selected, and you sign in with Google or email.
- Upload the image and pick the building type that matches the view, such as Residential, Villa, Commercial, Office, Hospitality, Educational, Interior, Facade or Skyscraper (25 types in total).
- Pick a style such as Modern, Contemporary, Minimalist, Brutalist, High-Tech, Scandinavian, Mediterranean or Industrial (25 styles in total).
- Press Generate and download the render. To change a material, the time of day or a detail, use Edit Image or Custom Action on the result and describe the change in words. Each edit is another render and uses credits.
Which Revit visual style and export settings work best
The AI follows what it can see, so a clean, readable view matters more than a detailed one. These settings give it the clearest picture of your design:
- Shaded or Consistent Colors are the safest visual styles. They show solid faces and clear edges, and Consistent Colors keeps the material colors you assigned without heavy lighting, as the street-corner example on this page shows.
- Hidden Line also works for line-heavy views. Plain Wireframe is harder to read, because the AI cannot tell which lines are in front.
- Turn on shadows or ambient shadows in Graphic Display Options. They show depth and the direction of light.
- Export at a decent size, about 1,600 pixels wide or more. Small images lose thin mullions, railings and fins.
- Hide what should not be in the picture: section boxes, scope boxes, grids, levels, reference planes, tags, dimensions and text.
- Use a camera view with a natural eye height for street views and interiors, and keep vertical lines straight. Strong three-point perspective makes renders look distorted.
- Leave some space around the building. A view cut off at the edge of the frame gives a cut-off render.
- You do not need render materials. A plain grey model works. If you already assigned materials, the AI may pick up their general colors, together with the style you choose.

Interiors, sections and elevations
Interior camera views work well. Choose the Interior building type and upload the view. If the room is empty in your model, the AI furnishes it to match the style you pick, as in the living room example; if you modeled furniture, it keeps the layout and adds finishes, fabrics and light.
Section and elevation views can be uploaded too, with the Section or Elevation building type. They are flat drawings, so expect something closer to a rendered elevation than a perspective photo. For the most convincing photoreal result, a perspective 3D or camera view is the best input.

Who uses it
Because one render is a single upload, you can try the same view in several styles side by side, then take the chosen direction into your usual render workflow for final images.
- Architects who want a quick mood image of a Revit scheme for an early client meeting, before setting up a full render.
- BIM and design teams who need several options of the same view in different materials or styles to agree a direction.
- Architecture students who model in Revit and need presentation images for reviews and portfolios.
- Developers, builders and planners who receive Revit views from their architect and want a more realistic picture to share.
AI render or a Revit render engine?
An AI render is fast and needs no material, lighting or camera setup, but it makes small decisions for you. It can add trees, people, cars or furniture you did not model, change a texture, or redraw a thin element in its own way. Exact colors, text, signage and dimensions are not guaranteed, and the result can differ a little each time.
A render engine such as the Revit renderer, Enscape, V-Ray, Twinmotion or Lumion gives exact materials, repeatable results, walkthroughs and animations, but it needs more setup and a capable computer. Many teams use AI renders for early options and client direction, then a render engine for the final, accurate images.
Free tier and plans
You need a free account to render. New accounts get 2 free renders, and free renders carry a watermark. In India this site does not include free renders, so a paid plan is needed there. Weekly, monthly and yearly plans for more renders without the watermark are on the pricing page.

Frequently asked questions
How do I render a Revit model with AI?
Export a 3D or camera view from Revit as a PNG or JPG (File > Export > Images and Animations > Image) or take a screenshot. Upload it to the Render Architecture tool, pick a building type and a style, and press Generate. You get a photorealistic image of the same view.
Which Revit visual style and export settings work best?
Shaded or Consistent Colors with shadows on gives the clearest result, and Hidden Line also works. Export at about 1,600 pixels wide or more, and hide grids, levels, section boxes, tags and dimensions before you export.
Do I need a Revit plugin, a GPU or Enscape or V-Ray?
No. ArchitecturesAI runs in the web browser and works from an image, so there is nothing to install in Revit and no graphics card or render engine license is needed.
Will the render keep my Revit geometry and window positions?
It follows the camera angle, massing, floor lines and openings it can see in your image, as the examples on this page show. It can still change small details or add things you did not model, so check the result against your drawings and generate again if something drifts.
Can I render Revit interior views and sections?
Yes. For interiors, choose the Interior building type and upload a camera view of the room. Sections and elevations can be uploaded too, but they are flat drawings, so a perspective 3D or camera view gives the most photoreal result.
Does it work with Revit LT?
Yes. The tool only needs an image, so any Revit edition that can show a 3D view and export or screenshot it works, including Revit LT.
Do I get a 3D model or a BIM file back?
No. You get a rendered image you can download. No RVT, IFC, CAD or 3D file is created, and your Revit model is not changed.
Is it free to try?
Yes. After you sign in, a new account gets 2 free renders with a watermark. In India this site does not include free renders. Paid weekly, monthly and yearly plans are listed on the pricing page.
